About
You were born free, what went wrong?
About
Prior to boarding a plane to Perth, Western Australia at the tender age of 4, Andrew mastered his craft of stealing car stereos and pick-pocketing the wealthy in his hometown, just outside the murky depths of Liverpool, England. Should have been born 20 years earlier when forgery and counterfeiting was a lot easier, the teenage years were spent enjoying all things beachy while the late teens and early twenties were occupied with study to become an engineer. Along the way he’s developed a rather cynical streak, some grasp of personal finance and the ability to start silly websites.
Education
A degree which has given me the ability to add extra letters to the end of my name, plenty of reading and a thirst for knowledge on all things ‘freedom’, I’d probably also add ‘travel’ to the education section but that seemed a bit wanky…
Attributes
Rather tall, Selective, Infrequent Jerk, Inability to grow a beard, entrepreneurial.
Highlights
Crashing a motorbike in France and all I wanted for Christmas was my two front teeth…
Most Likely To…
Start a blog, watch the same TV series on DVD repetitively, Copy the ‘about’ format from Belle and Sebastian’s website, launch into a cynical rant about work, save my money, pike on something, make a cup of tea, teach my niece how to moony, talk in a New Zealand accent, try and start a business, learn how to moonwalk, not accept you on facebook, steal my website’s name from one of elbow’s albums, drink pretentious Belgian beer.
You might not remember those happy times, but you were actually born free! Without your master of a boss, employer, wife, husband, whoever you’re answering to at the moment. We are all here to live; you are in control of your own life. You’re the star of your own TV show, if your ratings suck then liven things up a bit, you’re the only one that can make a change.
I’m on the same journey that you are. We’re all wondering how we got into this mess, but this website gives me an outlet to share with likeminded people about the state of the working world.
